As we make the transition between millennia it appears that social,
cultural, political and economic tendencies are empowering globalization
of terror, consolidation of power and the disenfranchisement of the
individual. Our task, as human beings, to attain higher self knowledge
as the act of freedom in thinking, feeling and willing is threatened
with foreclosure. Yet these same forces evident in this transition
of our times provide counter forces for the evolution of consciousness
in new forms of cognition and psychological maturation.
The Institute for Responsible Wisdom is a response to these violently
opposed counter forces. We promote The Institute for Responsible
Wisdom to become a vehicle for community, to undertake the tasks
of exploring avenues to attain higher consciousness, experience
spiritual awareness and create healthy practices for cosmopolitan
life in support of individual freedom. We will offer transformational
education for adults (at first) in the forms of seminars, workshops
and other events, and publish articles on this website. We welcome
your participation.
